ClipWireless Pty Ltd – Returns & Refunds Policy

ClipWireless Pty Ltd (“ClipWireless”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to complying with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and providing our customers with clear, fair, and transparent return and refund processes.
This policy applies to all purchases made via our website unless otherwise stated.
1. Change of Mind Returns (30-Day Policy)
We offer a 30-day change-of-mind return policy from the date you receive your order.
To be eligible for a change-of-mind return:

The item must be returned within 30 days of delivery

The item must be in the same condition as supplied

The item must be fully functional
-
All original accessories, packaging, and components must be included

The item must not be damaged, altered, locked, or modified in any way
Fees for Change of Mind Returns
For approved change-of-mind returns:

A restocking fee of 10% of the total order value will be deducted from the refund

A return shipping label will be provided, and the label cost will be deducted from the refund
-
Original shipping fees (if any) are non-refundable
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method after the returned item has been inspected and approved.
2. Faulty Goods & Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a remedy if a product:

Is faulty
-
Is not of acceptable quality

Does not match its description
-
Has a manufacturing defect
Major vs Minor Faults

Major failure: You are entitled to a refund or replacement of your choice.

Minor failure: We may offer repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with ACL.
Return Shipping for Faulty Goods

For faults covered under Australian Consumer Law, ClipWireless will provide a return shipping label at no cost to the customer

No restocking fees or return label costs will be deducted for valid ACL claims
We do not charge customers for exercising their rights under Australian Consumer Law.
3. Assessment & Testing of Returned Items
All returned items are subject to inspection and diagnostic testing.
If an item is returned as “faulty” and no fault is found, or the issue is determined to be caused by:

Accidental damage

Liquid damage
-
Misuse
-
Third-party repairs or modifications
-
Software locks (e.g. iCloud, MDM, Activation Lock) not present at sale
The return may be reclassified as a change-of-mind return, and applicable fees (including restocking and shipping) may apply.
3A. Additional Conditions for Apple & High-Value Electronics
Due to the nature of high-value electronic devices (including but not limited to Apple MacBooks, iPhones, iPads, and Watches), the following additional conditions apply to all returns:

Devices must be returned fully unlocked, including:

iCloud / Apple ID

Find My
-
MDM / Device Management profiles

Devices must not have been:

Opened
-
Repaired
-
Modified
-
Tampered with by a third party after delivery

Devices must not show signs of:
-
Liquid damage
-
Physical damage
-
Impact damage
-
Excessive wear inconsistent with the condition sold

If a device is returned with activation locks, management profiles, or security features enabled, ClipWireless reserves the right to:

Reject the return, or
-
Deduct reasonable costs required to restore the device to a resellable condition, where permitted by Australian Consumer Law
Devices returned in a condition that prevents resale may not be eligible for a refund unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
4. Items Not Eligible for Return
The following items are not eligible for return, except where required under Australian Consumer Law:

Items marked “Sold As-Is” or “No Warranty”

Items damaged after delivery

Items with missing parts or accessories
-
Items returned outside the 30-day return window
5. Refund Processing Timeframes

Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days after the returned item has been received and approved

Depending on your payment provider, funds may take additional time to appear in your account

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.
7. Consumer Law Notice
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
If there is any inconsistency between this policy and the ACL, the ACL will prevail.
For clarity, ClipWireless Pty Ltd primarily operates as a reseller of refurbished and pre-owned electronic devices. Minor cosmetic variations and usage indicators may be present and do not constitute faults under Australian Consumer Law.
